A documentary is set to accompany the album, chronicling Snoop's experiences with Rastafarian culture and his time in a Jamaican studio with Diplo. "I went to the temple and and received the name Snoop Lion from the Nyabingi priest," Snoop said in a statement. Diplo and Major Lazer had a hand in the production of the record, which is called Reincarnated. The project came about somewhat accidentally- Snoop originally visited Jamaica with the intention to focus on his music in isolation but found himself so "deeply affected by the people of Jamaica" that he "wanted to bury Snoop Dogg and become Snoop Lion." Snoop Dogg has revealed the details for his latest project, the reggae album released under the moniker Snoop Lion.
